Dvalin Press is a publisher and a production company that deals in typeset ephemera, such as texts, essays and books. Started by Alf Rehn as an experiment in alternative forms of academic publishing, it tries to combine non-traditional means and arguments with excellence in execution. It also works in consulting in academic publishing.

Dvalin books are simultaneously released as regular, printed books, and as free downloadable PDFs under a Creative Commons-license. The PDF is designed so that it can be delivered to any digital printing house, thus allowing anyone to distribute it.
