Stupidity and Medievalism (Unrelated Topics)

So I sit here, naked with a coffee, before I’m to rush off to a conference, and read my morning RSS, and the article on The Future of iPhone Gaming catches my eye. Particularly the opening, “blow-up” quote:

The best way for Apple’s iPhone to get in on the gaming market is to develop a popular game, says an expert.

An expert, none the less. Getting on in the gaming market takes a popular game? Who’d a thunk it? My god, this is so stupid my day just got a little more difficult to handle. Is this expert actually getting paid for his PhD in the bleedin’ obvious?

Then again, my favorite gang of theorists I do not agree with at all over at Organizations and Markets (fun blog, and I have a great deal of respect for them, even though we are as far apart in thinking as people in the kinda-the-same-field-although-you-could-be-forgiven-for-thinking-otherwise can be - I even like reading Nicolai Foss’s rants, bless his little hardliner heart) are highlighting a fun book on medieval schools.
