Finally, a journal editor with balls
Seems the journal Economic Inquiry has more style than I thought. They are trying out an “as-is” submission format, where an article will either be published as is or rejected. No more of the “quote me three times and we’ll see” or “take out the interesting bits and I might accept this”. Just Yay or Nay. Yay!

Saying one likes Bruce Sterling is kind of saying that one has found this amazing new TV-series called The Sopranos. It’s proof one is a little out of the loop and has no idea what the cool kids are doing. But I can’t but love the stuff he wrote for Wired on geo-blogging. So good, so enticing.

I’ve not touched this blog for ages, mainly because I’ve been doing the conference rounds and taken one of these hol-i-days I’ve kept hearing about. Pretty nice, actually.
