Books and such
Sometimes I wonder where the time goes. In case there’s still someone who tries to read this almost deserted blog, I’ve been busy writing a) my new book (just got the editors comments back on the manuscript), b) a few book chapters, c) some editorials, d) two book proposals, and e) notes on my next two books. I’ve also tried to keep up with about a dozen master’s theses, four PhD’s (and this means I’ve ignored about as many, and completely forgot an additional bunch…), and some course planning. Oh, and the additional junk one always runs into.
But that’s not very interesting. More interesting is the fact that I come across fantastic books every single day, and simply do not have time to read them. Right now I’m trying to read:
- Brides, Inc. by Vicki Howard
- How to Cheat at Everything by Simon Lovell
- In Search of Perfection by Heston Blumenthal
- The Coffee Trader by David Liss
- as well as trying (finally) to read Blink and Everything Bad is Good for You.
This probably makes me sound very weird indeed…
