NaNoWriMo

It’s that time of the year again. Every year I make a solemn vow that I’ll take part in the NaNoWriMo, and every year something comes and messes it up. For those of you who do not not what the NaNoWriMo is, it is a program for people to write an entire short novel in 30 days, during the month of November. I love it, I think I could manage to complete it, and yet again my project has been foiled before I could even get into it.

I’ve promised one of my publishers (yes, I’m poly-amorous when it comes to publishers – my feelings for one does not mean I cannot have a meaningful relationship with another) a manuscript at the end of November. It is supposed to be a short manuscript – actually just shy of the length of a NaNoWriMo-novel – and I have about 80 pages of it finished. But I want this book to be good, and really cannot take time out of my schedule to do a novel as well. Damn. So much to write, so little time.
